The base commander was my Upstate NY third grade teacher's son during my stay there.
I used to joke that the biggest boat I stepped foot on after four years in the Navy was a 16' Hobie Cat in the Chesapeake
Nice location. I plan on visiting again when I have the chance.

and internet shrinking it every day!
Took sailing lessons on what may have been a Hobie Cat in Annapolis 30+ years ago, when lived and worked in DC.
Lemme know if/when you visit.
