The NFL Draft

Expert analysis sought from DU (or wild guesses -- whichever)

1) Who do you think will be the top 5 picks: Houston, St. Louis, Jacksonville, Cleveland, Oakland (in that order)?

2) Do you think Dallas will (as rumored) trade into the top 5 to take Manziel?

3) Regardless of who Houston may take, who do you think is the best player in this draft and why?

4) Who is your pick to be draft bust of 2014?

Draft bust of 2014

While I think there will probably be a number of draft busts, my pick for overall biggest/most disappointing draft bust is...

Johnny Manziel

Why:

Because I don't think he has the same fire in his gut that made Tom Brady the star he is today. Manziel looks like he feels he doesn't have anything to prove. So much is expected of him (which is dangerous enough), whereas Brady, 199th, very likely was burning with a wish to show people what he was, and what he could do.

Also, although Manziel is very mobile out there on the field, a couple of QBs (Warren Moon and Ben Rothlisberger) have stated that he doesn't appear like he would have the stamina to take some really hard hits if they ever happened. I mean, you can only dodge and weave so long, before eventually someone brings you down.

So many of these guys who did so well in college football find out that the NFL is a whole different place...
