and root against the worst offender.

In this case, I'd probably root for the Ravens because of Ben Rapelisberger.

In years past, I'd have been rooting for the Steelers because of Ray "Disappearing White Suit" Lewis.

The have the whiny Rapelessburger as QB. The owner is old guard and treats players like possessions. Their fans are obnoxious. Do you need more than that?

. . .one of the most socially progressive members of that group of ALL TIME! Remember that it was the ownership of that team that insisted that the NFL have a rule FORCING teams to interview minority candidates for top level coaching jobs.

And i'm saying that as someone who dislikes the Steelers because i believe Ben raped that girl in the bar.

Dad was professor there. Would get creamed by Texas and A&M every year. When they played (in the days before overtime) I'd hope for a tie and a lot of injuries.

Sports brings out our best, huh?

But i'd never hope somebody got hurt. And there's some really slimeballs that i loathe (Rothlisberger among them) but i don't want to see anybody get hurt.

whichever players are on my fantasy team or for whoever is going against players on my opponent's fantasy team.

But, as you can see by my avatar, I have no problem hating the Steelers.

Ties can really screw up a team's playoff hopes and with a tie, you get both teams getting that concern.
