Did anyone notice the funny throwing motion that Rivers had Sunday?

He was winding up on each throw and seemed to be shot putting passes often. A sharp coaching staff like the Patriots have had to see that. If coached fully, their defensive backs should know exactly where Rivers is going to throw the ball before it leaves his hand. The Chargers appear to have a very solid offensive line, I don't expect the young Patriots defensive line to get to Rivers much if at all, but they may not need to, Rivers may end up throwing lots of picks.

1. No, I noticed that Baltimore's quarterback was shoveling it, though.

That was a weird game.

Sorry, should have put in his name there, Lamar Jackson.

2. That is his throwing method...has always been so.

Pretty awkward looking but he's made a good career out of it.

3. He has thrown a lot of picks. I see why.

Smart defenses will put a spotter in the defensive backfield to tell other defenders where he plans to throw the ball, if that gets taken away, there is no way that he can pick another target and execute an accurate pass.

6. He has a very low interception rate

Interesting Colin Kaepernick is #2 tied with Brady.

4. Yep since he was at NC State

That was the big question on him coming out of college.
His dad was a high school coach but I don't remember if that's just his natural motion or if he/his dad are emulating Marino. Marino's dad DID condition Dan to not bring the ball behind his ear.

5. He's had that delivery since college

Experts were saying it would hurt his career but it hasn't.
