Diablo III questions

My daughter does not have the full use of her left side - that factors into why she doesn't enjoy playing these kinds of games online with other people but she still likes to play these kinds of games. Does D3 have a single player campaign or MUST we play online with people?

Also are the controls very customizable? She adapts pretty well but these kinds of games often have a lot of controls and she needs to re-map keys to make it easier for her. She can kick my ass in fighting games though. That doesn't bother me - it's that she laughs at me while she is kicking my ass. but that's beside the point.

thanks!

But you can make your own game and play solo.

Or you can join in a ready made group set up by the system,
or have a party of people you know join up (max of 4).

Here is a site with the keyboard commands - I couldn't find one on the D site itself but you may have better luck.
Yes, they are customizable.

I'd hate for her to lose out on the group experience for fear of ending up in a game with a bunch of douchebags.

I like that I can play a solo room and yet if I see a friend online I can invite them into my room or I can join them. Every once in awhile I'd open my room up to a public room but you get an asshole it kinda makes the game suck.

but I doubt she'll go for it...it's not just douchebags...if it's with people she knows and likes (or even me - lol) she feels bad for holding them back because she knows she can't keep up with everyone and then she gets very self-conscious when people start telling her it's fine because she thinks it's not fine no matter how much she believes they really mean it's fine.

When she is adventuring alone she can concentrate on what she can do instead of having her limitations illustrated...she REALLY hates to be the center of attention - she once cried when the Red Lobster people brought her a birthday dessert and sang their dumb song...(I felt bad for her but I couldn't get mad at them because they did it for free and thinking they were doing something nice..which they were - just to someone who would have rather not)
