Neil deGrasse Tyson Gets a Late-Night Nat Geo Talk Show

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/neil-degrasse-tyson-gets-a-761680

Neil deGrasse Tyson is getting his own show.

The astrophysicist and TV personality, who fronted Cosmos in 2014, has nabbed a late-night series on National Geographic Channel called Star Talk.

I know there are some fans of NDT here.

You can always play reruns and pretend like they are new!

Or, play the Brian Cox shows. Those are really great.

so yes, but Fox also showed Cosmos, so i imagine NDT will do what he wants without interference.

"The Simpsons" has taken more than one huge dig at Pox News over the years. They run movies on their movie channels with all the F-bombs intact. The Entertainment group is quite decent.

Murdoch is more involved in his propaganda channel. He's been pretty hands off the entertainment side unless he's occasionally told them to lay of the slams for a while or he's done a voice cameo on "The Simpsons."

Fox Entertainment is just the cash cow.

I have been getting Nat. Geos for about 10 years now...

I am noticing something I hope other readers have noticed as well...

I am seeing a LOT more right wing stuff creeping into the magazine...

It is mostly the letters to the editor...

They seem to be giving more credence to religion and cramming in little positive religious jabs in articles when they can...

I have definitely noticed it... anyone else?

Thanks

There are enough interesting things happening right now to make it a thoughtful show.

Not sure if it'll get shown here (UK) but I'm sure I'll be able to view the episodes somehow. Love to listen to NDT.
