So it serves a dual purpose. Better to turn it into a learning and discussion experience rather that to stifle any discussion on the matter.

What would the privileged do without you practically tripping over yourself to defend them?

is why is it mainly atheists calling this guy out? Why aren't you there telling him it's horrible? Why aren't the others that frequent this group who claim to hate bigotry of all kinds in there telling him how wrong he is?

I know the answer; I just wish you guys would prove me wrong once in a while.

And a perfect time for a discussion of it too.

Doubly ironic when the people they are calling "Godless" are staunch Catholics, they even credit God in the whole selection process.

It works just fine with 'Atheists'

all selfish excuses for human beings must be atheists, because of course it's impossible that Christians can be selfish assholes. However, there are apparently some atheists who are not selfish excuses for human beings. The poster does claim to have known some atheists who were more decent than conservatives, even though he or she seemed to be very surprised at that. I guess if someone believes that only Christians can be decent human beings, it must come as a great shock to find out that there are decent atheists (or Jews, or Muslims, or Hindus, etc.) actually walking the earth.

That there are terrible Christians living in their very town! They like to make up rules like "apostasy" so they can claim that a person's actions will disqualify them from their club, or auto excommunicated (that's how they like to get around he Hitler question, his actions made him an atheist) all carefully coded, and all starts to unravel when you point out the foundation is rotten.

Obviously nonsense.

That's where I stopped reading.

But it's OK as it was coincidentally the end of your post.

Let's face it, it's a great word. Goodless just doesn't have the same punch.
