Being a Warriors fan living in the bay area, I am thrilled to welcome KD. Here's what the rest of the country may not know: his decision came down to religion.
The Warriors may be the most devout team in sports. They attend church together and claim faith as their guiding strength. Curry and Iguadala are the most religious and led the contingent that met with Kevin on Friday.
Kevin has a practice of going to chapel before every game. You couldn't come up with a more perfect fit.

(44,173 posts)The Currys are devout Christians, though no evidence to suggest they are RW fundamentalists, and they are friendly with the Obamas.
The irony is that the SF Bay Area is far more secular of an area that central Oklahoma.

(5,737 posts)Durant left OKC because of Westbrook's ball-hogging. Now he will have to deal with two in GS. Still no presence under the basket and till no answer for teams that want to play rough. Durant can't take rough play any better than Curry. Cleveland showed the rest of the NBA how to shut down Curry. They need to ask God for more basketballs during the game.
