Wanna see a castle that still has a moat?

I don't care who you are a moat that has been there since the 14th century is just cool. Most castles you visit you can see where the most used to be - but very rare to see an actual moat....

Does the moat have alligators in it? (wink)

Last summer, we went to Ireland to visit some castles. It was awe inspiring to stand in a building that was 500 or more years old. In the U.S., we don't have buildings anywhere near that old. One castle we visited was started 1,500 earlier and had been rebuilt 6 times in its history!

Thanks for the beautiful pictures, Soph!

Not that it isn't very cool, and I am glad you posted it.

But why here? Just curious.

They are right next to each other in my list of groups and I clicked on the wrong group without realising it. Is there anyway to fix it?
