(28,151 posts)1. I have come to believe
That there are actually very few believers out there. At least the kind who feel they will face a reckoning at the end of their lives.
The Christians I work with (and many I've known outside of work!) are absolutely awful people. Lie, cheat, steal and the vicious cruelty, omg. If they actually do believe their death beds will be oh so terrifying for them.
But I, as an atheist, am the bad person. Yeah.

So, how many people are following this man? Is his "Jefferson Bible" approach taking hold and growing?
I think that's extremely unlikely.
