wife of Zechariah. John and Jesus were cousins. There is no such thing as a "virgin birth." Just like there is no such thing as a body coming back to life after 3 days of death. And no such thing as Jesus defying gravity and floating up to heaven, which presumably is somewhere in the sky, but never found by any telescope.

Assuming that there was a real, historical Jesus, why isn't it enough to just accept his teachings about compassion and live up to them?

It brought back happy memories of the "May Crowning" ceremony that we used to celebrate back when I was in grade school.

Jesus was a "mamzer"; half Jewish, half blue eyed Roman. Son of a Roman soldier whose name is known.

The legend says Jesus was accepted as Jewish - until one day his headdress slipped. And revealed his blue eyes.
