Are there any good times this month to ask for a raise?

Or not ask for a raise?

I'm putting my argument and salary surveys together, so I was thinking after the new moon. Also, I'm going to ask for at least 25K more than what I make now, so I'm going straight to the head honcho (who was born 11/16/55 in Texas; I was born 1/2/69 in NY. I was hired full time 2/18/91 in Texas.)

Thoughts?

Thanks!

I appreciate it. Our republican pres has been busy hiring gobs of people at 6 figure salaries and told the rest of us no raises this year or next. I've been there 22 years and have to work a side job to make ends meet, so I figure I'll ask for what they should have been paying me the past decade. I figure I have nothing to lose.

astrologyzone.com? It's sun sign astrology but I think she does a good job.

Also I noticed your boss is a Scorpio--and Saturn just entered this sign, and you are Capricorn, which has Pluto in it. This makes Saturn and Pluto in mutual reception, which might help you out in this endeavor.

It will be interesting to see if Rick has anything to say about this---good luck Sweet Freedom!!!!

I know some people love her forecasts, but they never align with my reality.

Thanks for the good vibes. I'll update once I do it.

without sounding like a smart*ss, ask for the raise when YOU feel right.
It's that simple.

Modern astrology leads people astray to think "there's a better time", no.
Be yourself.
You will ask when you ask
You will ask when the time is right
or else, you wouldn't ask

I'm not trying to be cute, that's the best as I see it
This is why I no longer "help" people pick dates to start a business (electional astrology), or get married.
I cannot do any better than "God". You're God too, let him whisper to you
Best of luck

I can do that.

I'm going to wait until after next week to decide because my best friend (S1 in your records) who also works with me has interviewed for a new job and since they came after him, I'm pretty sure he'll get it. Even if our president matches the HUGE raise offer, S1 would be silly to stay (much greater opportunity at this other place). So, I'm thinking it wise to ask for my raise after they lose S1; they may not want to risk losing me too.

I will ask this month. I have been working on my proposal. If S1 gets the other job, his notice will go in next week and I think I will then have a much better chance of not only getting a raise, but also the amount I ask for. I think I'll short-change myself if I do it before. That's all.

NOT between October 16-18 due to head honcho's emotional/intellectual critical biorhythms.
