The United States Is Having Its First Pluto Return!

Pluto has a 248 year orbital cycle around the Sun, and in 2024, Pluto will have come back to its natal position - the zodiacal position it occupied in the US natal chart, once the 3.3 degree correction for equinoctial precession since our country's founding is factored into the equation. If you are not making the three degree plus correction, we are in the initial stages of that Pluto return already, and the midterm elections will be a real harbinger of what is to come. And of course, the dark or shadow side of Pluto is autocracy, totalitarianism and fascism. And of course, that means Donald Trump.

In fact, Pluto has played an important role in many important electoral events in our nation's recent history - and making the adjustment for equinoctial precession since our country's founding is essential to getting an accurate reading on them. The main events have been / will be as follows:

1) The 2000 presidential election and SCOTUS giving the presidency to George W. Bush: This coincided with Pluto crossing over the natal Ascendant of the United States.

2) The 2016 presidential election of Donald Trump: This coincided with transiting Pluto's opposition to the natal Sun of the USA.

3) The 2022 Midterm elections: This will coincide with the US Pluto return before the three degree plus adjustment for equinoctial precession is made.

4) The 2024 Presidential Election: This will coincide with the precession corrected US Pluto return.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it does seem like the writing is on the wall for our country taking a hard right turn towards fascism and Trumpism. We here at DU may know better, but we constitute a small minority; the masses - and Pluto does indeed have a correlation with mass consciousness and mass movements - are still ignorant and unenlightened, and may not be able to resist the siren call of Trumpism and fascism.

and with the seriousness of the situation of the Pluto return (corrected or not). But how does this intertwine, work through and with, and is possibly mitigated by the generational change by entering into the Age of Aquarius at the same time? Uranus is going to cause major upsets, both good and bad. Aquarius, known as the great humanitarian, is not necessarily known for her soft warm fluffy feelings, but she IS for the betterment of mankind, and will not stand for mankind's downfall.

For example, I can see a new version of Trumpism trying to kill SS, but the Aquarian emphasis on new and edge cutting technology actually pushing it toward a new form of capitalism erupting (much like UBI). I feel like everything we experience now is going to be tossed up into the air and what falls back down is going to be puzzle pieces put back together in different formats. It may or may not work for each individual person, but it will work for the whole. It will probably take a decade or so of living within the age of Aquarius to get the bugs truly worked out, but I think rather than backwalking into a fascist "new america" we're going to be remaking America into something the Founders couldn't have envisioned, but more likely comes closer to what they actually might have dreamed.

Will coincide with the entry of transiting Pluto into the tropical sign of Aquarius. The original zodiacal longitude of Pluto at our country's founding was 27 degrees of Capricorn, and add the three-plus degrees to correct for equinoctial precession since our nation's founding, and you cross over into zero degrees of Aquarius, since the tropical zodiac is the one affected by equinoctial precession.

This ingress of transiting Pluto into the tropical sign of Aquarius is not the same as the much discussed dawn of the Age of Aquarius. Strictly speaking, the Age of Aquarius will down when the Vernal EQuinox Point of the tropical zodiac precesses, or moves backwards, from zero degrees of Pisces in the sidereal (star-based) zodiac (we are currently in the precessional age of Pisces) into 29 degrees of sidereal Aquarius. Since the Vernal Equinox Point of the tropical zodiac is currently at about 6 degrees of Pisces, and the Vernal EQuinox Point precesses, or moves backwards, by one degree every seventy-two years, the actual ingress of the Vernal Equinox Point back into sidereal Aquarius won't happen for another 400 years or so.

Using this calculus, if we add one degree to the Vernal Equinox Point for every 72 years back in time, the entry of the VEP into sideral Pisces from sidereal Aries coincides pretty much with the ascension of the Roman emperor Constantine to the throne, and his making Christianity the establishment religion of the Roman Empire. With that crucial milestone, the religion of Jesus and his fishermen had triumphed, and the Piscean Age of Faith had begun.

I still believe that starting in 2024 and continuing on thru 2028, the generational change of planets will see us change into a more progressed form of civilization, rather than a regressed one. If nothing else, call it an old woman's hope for her waning days. To do otherwise, is to wish for suicide at this point in life. Granted, I bow to your knowledge of astrology... and I don't come anywhere close to it. My specialty has always been Tarot. I read the cards for a reading on GW's admin in 2000 and swore I'd never do another in-depth reading again until everything I saw had come to pass. Everything I saw but one has come to pass so far. 8. I Just Did Some Astrological Research on the American Civil War

And found out that its start, in April 1861, with the attack on Ft. Sumter, pretty much coincided with the first Uranus return of the United States. "Four score and seven years ago..." declared President Lincoln in his famous Gettysburg Address... Well, it just so turns out that Uranus has an eighty-four year orbital cycle around the Sun.

In astrology, Uranus is the planet of spiritual freedom and individuation, of becoming more and more your true self and living up to your spiritual ideals. And so, there was the growing tension between our nation's founding ideals, as voiced in the Declaration of Independence, and this little thing called slavery, which was an affront to those some ideals; various compromises were tried to accommodate this tension, but they finally broke down and erupted into the civil war, in which slavery was defeated and America moved one step closer towards putting those high ideals of freedom and equality into practice.
