Weird stuff is happening

I shop online and over the phone a lot. I'm still recovering, so it's easiest for me. At the same time, there are odd things happening. Two different orders got "lost" in two weeks. In other words, the order number was generated, our card was charged, but nothing arrived at our house. Obviously, this is not a matter of life and death, but it strikes me as very odd. (It's not Merc Retrograde, is it?) I'm wondering if anyone else here is experiencing some weirdness in their daily lives as well.
In the meantime, I have to give Banzai Bonnie a huge shout-out. My appointment with her was wonderful. I've been practicing the things she talked with me about, and yesterday, something amazing happened. Montlake Romances (division of Amazon.com,) asked me to submit my three-book series. I still need to do a lot of revising before submitting, but getting asked for three books is right up there with getting struck by lightning.

p.s. Okay, I have to amend my post... I wasn't clear. The senior acquisitions editor asked me to send her the full manuscripts of my three books. It's not a done deal. Mostly, even getting the chance is a big deal, and getting asked for three books at once is almost unbelievable. I'm sorry if I confused everyone. Thank you so much for all the really nice responses, though - I hope I'll have even better news to report soon!

Yeah, the shadow after Merc retrograde felt as bad as the event. I keep wanting to look at a calendar to see if is somehow still merc retro, even though I know it is not.

I don't know what is happening, but the planets are very weird now. That's probably one reason I didn't do a Feb. newsletter. Gotta figure out what's going on. FEELS like a battle between the overall negative collective mindset right now with the incoming light.
I don't know, but I'm very anxious to see what others are feeling.

The post office has disappeared a box I sent out the friday of Christmas Weekend.
We cancelled a subscription to a weekly....Only to have them call me one day later trying to sell me a subscription to the weekly. LOL!
But BUT!!!!! I'm hearing really fantastic news of WONDERFUL things happening in many friends lives!!! Its like listening to a symphoney of champaign corks all going off at the same time! And They absolutely all deserve it!

I had been eyeballing Montlake myself recently--I loves me a new publisher that needs to build up its stable of writers. Would you mind if I PMed you about your experience with them, either here or on FB sometime? In the meantime...

There is nothing more gratifying to a writer than having an editor say "i want to read more of your work."
