2012 ....the only lasting revolution is evolution...

EXCERPT:

From an astrological perspective, there's no telling what's going to transpire this year because 2012 is a portal into several years of dynamic change, with Uranus, the planet of surprising plot twists leading the way, and Pluto, the symbol of change at the core, following just a hair's breadth behind. When these two planetary archetypes unite in any arrangement, we experience profound upheaval. Time may have chosen the protestor as the 2011 person of the year, but last year's turmoil was merely the tip of the collective iceberg. Yet as history evidences, the upheaval Uranus and Pluto symbolize is not necessarily negative; their interactions signify multidimensional revolutions that focus on issues of personal freedom as well as social justice.

So here are my predictions for 2012: "Social conscience" is its mantra. And while not everyone will be interested in chanting those words, one of this year's red threads is recognizing where and when personal interests and collective concerns meet. Be aware

1. No question, now is the time of sloughing off the old ways

and beginning to look to helping each other. As the video said, the declaration of interdependence.

Things are going to be popping up...

I had cause to watch an old Donahue show recently. The audience (mostly women) was intelligent, informed and engaged. The guest was Ayn Rand (who the audience did not like). Fast Forward to the after-Donahue years; the Age of Oprah. Contrast the audience. We have a younger generation who grew up on Oprah, while some of us were Donahue fans. I find the comparison, and possible implications, fascinating.

I don't know, but I feel that the *Boomers* are coming of age, the latter one. And our collective Pluto in Leo has joined with the younger to just repeat: Who put YOU in charge of me? (We're led to believe 'elections' do it, so it's our own damn fault.) (sorry if you agree)

We are just sick of lazy fat white guys telling us what WE do wrong! (edit out my feelings about politicians - not relevant)
I want to see what WE can do. Those guys need to get with our program, or find another life.

Iceberg. Yep, I think it's serious.

eta: I have nothing against 'fat', 'lazy' or 'white guys'. There's that particular breed. You know the ones.
