Just Once

Just once
I wish that every woman
Can look into the eyes of her lover
And see his very soul

Just once
I wish that every woman
Can look into the eyes of her lover
And lay bare the depth of her desire

Just once
I wish that every woman
Can feel safe
To speak the truth of her heart

Just once
I wish that every woman
Can feel a touch so true
She knows it’s love

Just once
I wish that every woman
Can experience the pleasure
She knows is in her body

Just once
I wish that every woman
Can allow the tigress within
To roar the might of her passion

Just once
I wish that every woman
Can be so pleasured
She knows it’s an act of worship

Just once
I wish that every woman
Can feel
The beauty she is

Just once
I wish that every woman
Can know the source of her being
Is the Goddess

Just once
I wish that every woman
Can believe
She is the Goddess incarnate.

It reminds me of an XTC song. And thanks for the tantra page

XTC Church of Women

A lie for a lie, but a truth for the truth

Church of women is made out of milk
which their love turns to butter
Church of women will have you give praise
with a laugh, bark and stutter
Like us men like us men they are nothing like us men
Men have gargoyles 'round their hearts
I'm on my knees but dancing

Want to worship at the church of women
Breathe 'em in until my head goes spinning around
Want to worship at the church
Let me worship at the church of women

Church of women is making donations of loving and giving
Church of women performing that miracle raising the living
Like us men like us men will they ever like us men?
Men have thorns around their minds
I'm on my mountain preaching

Want to worship at the church of women
Breathe 'em in until my head goes spinning around
Want to worship at the church
Let me worship at the church of women

Lie for a lie, but a truth for the truth
Give 'em back their house: the walls, the doors, the floors and roof
And stop tryin' to diet 'em on wafers and wine and some myth we're in control
Now let's put things right
Let's multiply the loaves and kisses
'Til we have enough to love and eat forever

Want to worship at the church of women
I want to worship at the church of women now
Breathe 'em in until my head goes spinning around
I'll breathe 'em in until my head goes spinning 'round
Want to worship at the church
Let me worship at the church of women
Want to worship at the church of women

I've been looking for my Twin Flame my whole life, without knowing the term or what it meant spiritually. I just knew I wanted that union without boundaries, without conditions. I knew at some level that it was possible, and I was determined to find it.

But how to find it? I decided 40 years ago that the only way to find out if she was truly The One was to assume she was from the outset, and commit to that truth 100%. That's the only way to open up enough to give the possibility its space. I knew instinctively that caution would lock the door.

Making that decision has given me entry into one of the world's greatest classrooms. The lessons are hard, but they are so deep. Now that the magic has worked with Kathleen, the pain seems so insignificant. Necessary, but just some homework.

I've been an atheist until very recently, but I have always worshiped the Goddess Incarnate.

(not sure about Colin, the other creative genius behind the band.) From reading his bio some time back, I know he went through a bad marriage, too, and many of his songs reflected that. They also seem to be into esotericism, and at least read something of the new age variety of beliefs. That much can be seen in their albums "Apple Venus" and "Wasp Star."

So, I'm going to laugh and guess that your initial question and response is that you liked what was in the song (or the lyrics anyway) and shocked that someone else has the same idea about worshiping the Goddess?

Thanks for talking about how you see the best a marriage can be (or any relationship for that matter.) I agree with your assessment, and it doesn't matter what one believes or doesn't.

a secret wish that this thread would turn into a poetry/art thread I was saving a time to come here when I could actually shift myself so I can absorb these altered states. Poems are such mind candy.

Thank you for the tantric evolution link, yet another gateway to pass through, to be comfortable with ourselves and sharing love on every level. Holding a space of love and devotion--what a powerful vibration.

The Sailor's Lament

Above my sail the sky is rent and ripped by running cloud.
The surface of my ocean torn to froth,
My eggshell craft besieged by wrack and ruin.
Icy rivulets against my skin
Constrict my heart with dread.

The wheel, like a dog that spies a fleeing squirrel,
Wrenches from my nerveless fingers, spinning free.
All is lost. I weep.

Then through driving, slashing sheets of rain
I see the hand of God reach out –
Sound of thunder,
Smell of lightning,
Touch of final doom.

The grasp of mighty fingers
Seizes at my oilskinned throat,
Tears me from my seat, my shrieks in vain.

Up, up through the thunderous storm I fly,
Pulled by terrible majestic forces,
Implacable, unyielding, unresisting.
Webs of lightning flicker in the dark and gloom,
Flash me with their golden light.

Until at once above the clouds I soar,
In an embrace suddenly less fearsome now.
Divine hands cup my mortal soul,
The thunder from below recedes
To a rumble full of cosmic glee;
Lightning swells to radiant glow,
And in my ear your voice invites me, “See!”

I look, and see:
The solid storm-top clouds so far below;
Above, cerulean infinity hints of home;
And gazing on the shining sun I see your smile.

Suspended here between the sea and sky,
Between the stormy and serene,
Between the mortal and divine,
One foot on Earth, one hand in Heaven,
Saved by Love,
At last.

Binary Stars

Before you were,
Was I?
Or did you gaze me into life,
Eye to I?

Two perfect burning spheres
In mutual orbit,
Our surrounding space suffused
With silent hymns.

Emerging from our eternity in the thirsty dark
We drink the quickening glow,
Share a single breath of life
As the Phoenix reawakens.

8. A short ballad...

The Ballad of K and B

Thundering hoof beats drown all thought.
Standing on the brink of the abyss,
Peering down into the shrouding cloud,
We recognize the moment.

I feel pretty butch as I watch the sun dance in your eyes,
A rising dawn of full surrender.
Behind us the Four Horsemen of Circumstance converge,
Constrict our world, pare our choices to the bone.
Ahead of us is only open air and unplumbed depth –
A future veiled in impenetrable mist.

We turn toward each other and everything comes clear.
Eyes meet, hands join, intentions merge,
Yin and yang unite, the circle is complete.
Wordless and ineluctable, our choice is made.

Opening up to fate, just two short steps –
Crunch of boots on gravel and then the soundless plunge.

Suspended in the instant, I drink the freedom in your eyes
And watch in awe the miracle of grace unfold.
The rush of wind grows distant.
Hand in hand, heart to heart,
First tumbling, now soaring,
Two rapt raptors locked eye to eye and wing to wing.

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcons hear the falconer,
And the center holds at last.

Wings

If I listen closely I can hear
The sound of wings.

Wings of condors,
Wings of eagles,
Wings of fairies,
Wings of doves.

Brushing my heart
Like a memory,
They sweep away the dust of years.

Underneath,
Shining, radiant,
Gently stirring, gently stretching,
Reaching to enfold me,
The wings
Of the Angel of Los Angeles.
