Richard Tarnas' "Cosmos and Psyche". He already did it, and I mean did it to the nth degree... every event and detail
absolute perfection. "Probably" the greatest astrology book ever written.

Good luck

Here’s part of a 2012 US forecast from 2009:
“Americans Must Think Globally or Else
Embedded within this grand square is a strong and important opposition. This opposition also involves "soft" planetary influences, suggesting a national psychological crisis.

The opposition straddles the 3rd house/9th house axis. Americans will have to balance local concerns against the needs of participation in the global community, something many Americans are not used to doing, yet.

The Moon's nodes are involved. They strengthen the opposition and raise the stakes. The north node favors greater foreign involvements. The south node will penalize communities that don't take a global perspective.
In Sum
The composite chart for the 2012 and the US defines an intense superheated political state. Things that seemed settled by law, a long time ago, will be on the table. The forces of reform will be empowered to go head to head with the established order.

The force pouring into the chart makes radical change inevitable. The planetary aspects point to a major national identity crisis. The prevalence of hard aspects say that this identity crisis will be a difficult one and require considerable effort by the US, from both its government and its people. A lot of innovations will have to be built painstakingly, from the ground up.”

But what happens if the "change" is regressive? SAy like womans rights and abortion? I mean it does seem to be going backward.

Absolutely not Mother Earth......But the male principles are really fighting the Female principles that are coming into awareness. Historically speaking it almost always gets worse before it gets better.

Howler, check out Dr. Christine Page. She's a doctor, an intuitive, writer, author of The Galactic Alignment, Return of the Great Mother. I think you will like her.

From Astrology Weekly:

Horoscope of USA · USA natal chart

There is an ongoing controversy regarding the natal chart of the USA. However, most astrologers use either the Sagittarius Rising chart (that seems to work better when it comes to rectification and is supported by historical evidence) either the Gemini Rising chart (which seems to provide a better description of the American character).

Sagittarius Rising chart (Sibly): July 4, 1776, 5:10 pm LMT, Philadelphia, PA

Gemini Rising chart: July 4, 1776, 02:13:32 am LMT, Philadelphia, PA

Posting this for reference, I think this is a good enough source I wonder what Rick thinks about which rising sign the US has? I don't know enough about this.

These are the "main" two. The first has been validated by 9/11.
The second shows how childish in naive Americans are, throw-away, give it to me now society, which makes some sense and also
looks like a chart early astrology would have picked on purpose when there was "no" Uranus, Neptune or Pluto. A toss up.

can be used, like the link said, depending on the question? This is why I am not an astrologer!!

astrologers use 7 different USA charts
no one knows

I DO know two things: 1, The S is hitting the fan in 2015 when Pluto opposes our Sun
and 2. The Pluto return will happen in about 9 years

Birth time matters not for those. I'll be writing extensively about both because it is THE END of what we have known
as the USA and HOPEFULLY the beginning of something far greater, BUT THIS TIME, real. Let's hope.

Everyone who can provide these interpretations seem to be saying the same things, in different ways, but pretty much the same.
And the layers of this onion, apply to all individually and collectively? (Sorry, lol, have a hard time restraining the armchair philosopher.)

I think it's the most accurate reflection of the US and its future.
