Former Senator Joseph Donnelly (D- Indiana) will be nominated by President Biden

to be the US ambassador to the Vatican.
Senator Donnelly is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, class of 1977, majoring in Political Science, and of the Univ. of Notre Dame College of Law. He has also taught at Notre Dame.

Came across as a thoroughly decent man. A crime he lost his re-election bid to Mike Braun. But this is Indiana.
