☦☮✝️ Orthodox Christian giving thanks to St. Anthony of Padua❣

God is glorified through His Saints!

I got 2 new chain bracelets recently. I know. "Quit buyin' stuff!1" So they're 7" ones that fit more snug than 8" ones. My neighbor buddy said he'd put them on for me. I couldn't hold them steady, keep the clasp open then try to fasten it.

I put them on a pair of jeans on my handy pile of clothes. I play musical clothing items with the pile.😄

Today b4 going out running myself around, I changed jeans bc of london britches fallin' down. 🤭

I went to take the bracelets with me so upon return buddy boy would put them on. I COULD NOT FIND THEM! I wasted at minimum an hour messing around. All the while petitioning St. Anthony to please find them for me. They were not in the finished load of clothes. I looked thru papers on top of trash thinking mb I grabbed them with a cleaning wipe. Nada. I traipsed around: a dept. store then got gas. There was considerable movement.

I had supper, fed smoochie, dried another load then slipped off my jeans to toss in the washer. I had already cuffed them days ago and had them on the 'ready to wear' pile. When I went to pull down the cuffs, well you prolly have guessed it. There were the two bracelets! 😍 They survived all the activity and moving about I did.

So I give honor and praise to St.Anthony. 🤍Again. He has come thru every time I call on him for the past 3 decades after a dear sister in Christ told me about his special gift.

St Anthony of Padua, born in Lisbon, is a great help to us prone to losing stuff.
