the soul, a creation of the one true God, that brings the nature of God to planet earth. If we have strength to resist base impulses, it is the developed soul that provides that strength, not Jesus. Jesus models the perfect soul, providing an example to help us make godly choices.

Damnation! I just noticed this was in a safe harbor group. I shouldn't have critiqued light. Let me know if you want me to remove it.

to the New Testament being the fulfillment thereof according to Orthodox Theology and much of non-orthodox Christian traditions.
