Dubuque Archdiocese opens door of mercy at Cathedral

Any other dioceses doing something like this?

With a prayer, Dubuque Archbishop Michael Jackels declared open a door of mercy Sunday -- locally heralding a year of special emphasis for Catholics.

The rite at the beginning of Mass at the Cathedral of Saint Raphael follows an instruction by Pope Francis that dioceses around the world are to designate a place of pilgrimage during the holy year with a "Door of Mercy" through which, according to the Holy Father, "anyone who enters is to experience the love of God who consoles, pardons and instills hope."
