My understanding is that the Kingdom of Heaven is within us. Our Father who Art in Heaven? Well, that is where Jesus pointed to.

It may be at hand or to come for those who don't listen or pay attention to that truth. Maybe forever.

As a Christian believer, this earth and life are not our 'home'.

It could have been, but unfortunately changed.

And Orthodox Christians believe this earth will not be 'destroyed', but renewed/recreated to something even better than the original.

Christ promised His return one day, the Parousia, Second Coming. "Presence, arrival or official visit." Translating an ancient Greek word according to Wiki.

My simple interpretation is that it a New Heaven and a New Earth in the twinkling of an eye.

For those with eyes to see and ears to hear, that internal transformation is what it is about and not a materialistic view of the deceptive, phenomenal world or the mindset that craves and caters to it.

It is the rather paradigm shifting insight into the Kingdom of Heaven within that cleanses the heart and mind of its long held delusions that the Kingdom of God is always timelessly immanent, but it is we who are hiding from the implications of that and taken refuge in a form of deception that is the sins of the Fathers visited upon the Sons, so to speak.

That return awaits each of us who are open to that kind of revelation where the Presence already abides as the Peace beyond understanding that has not bounds or limitations of space nor time and concepts are mere dreams and imaginings that miss mark because we do not turn around to know the immediate truth of it here and now. That's the individual coming. The original original is beyond comprehension. To some that is foreboding or threatening to their entire World view, hence they await something.

I welcome your 'tenets'?

Orthodox call becoming 'like' God, assuming His 'nature', 'Theosis'.

This one? I'm not so certain about a 'recovery'. In terms of the economy, I mean. This virus could peak and then wane.

Our economy went from okay pretty decent to in the toilet.

That's the big unknown for me.
