(Jewish Group) 26 Jewish Groups Decry 'Unconscionable' Policy Separating Children From Parents

Twenty-six Jewish groups signed a letter to U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen opposing the government policy of separating children from their migrant parents.

The letter, which was organized by the Anti-Defamation League, calls the policy “unconscionable.”

Signers include three major Jewish religious movements — Conservative, Reform and Reconstructionist — as well as the American Jewish Committee, HIAS and Jewish Women’s International.

1. Middle age barbarism .

If you see something say something.
I am glad the 26 Jewish organizations
are saying it, it is immoral and against
the very basic ethical principles of
which we as nation will most likely issue an apology 50 years from now when it will be too late.
Time to take a stand. We recognize
there is an immigration problem, but
separating children from their parents is not the solution. It is middle
age barbarism.

2. Good. We've heard about evangelicals abandoning their stand with Trump

and was hoping that Jews - who have known first hand family separations - would come forward.
