(Jewish Group) Cambridge man charged with hate crime after alleged anti-Semitic incident
(THIS IS THE JEWISH GROUP! RESPECT!!)A Cambridge man allegedly repeatedly yelled anti-Semitic phrases at a 66-year-old woman and pushed her against a wall Thursday morning. He’s now facing a hate crime-related charge, Cambridge police said.
Jarrett Harris, 62, of 47 Inman St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery on someone age 60 or older, and assault and battery with intent to intimidate/hate crime, according to police.
Police were called to the area of Inman and Harvard streets around 10:37 a.m. for a report of an assault.
When officers arrived and got the attention of the suspect, he allegedly began shouting, “I just wanted that [expletive] off my property.”
