(Jewish Group) Nazi comparisons have long been off-limits for American Jews. Trump changed that.

Nazi comparisons have long been off-limits for American Jews. A new political ad suggests that’s changing in the Trump era.

Is it OK to compare Donald Trump to a Nazi?

In line with their longtime opposition to such rhetoric, anti-Semitism watchdog groups are speaking out against the use of Nazi comparisons to attack Trump and his administration.

But that bright line appears to be blurring for many with the president stepping up his efforts to discredit the election results in November and refusing to promise a peaceful transfer of power should he lose to Joe Biden.

The immediate flashpoint in the debate is a new 30-second ad released Tuesday by the Jewish Democratic Council of America that draws parallels between the rise of fascism in Germany and the Trump presidency.

I am going with Lipstadt and Foxman on this one! See ad here.

I personally thought their ads were current & necessary words of warning, considering what we are dealing with today.
The warnings of similarities with Trump are valid.

I also understand the Hitler /Holocost is a moment in history that should never be normalized.
Because it was specific.

They put out a couple of powerful & pertinent ads.
I personally think the whole world should be seeing them every single day, at this moment in time.

This is a good-read Thread

I believe the ads were so well made as to draw the distinction between then & now..
I understand & respect both sides of this however.
