A former US Pentagon insider has accused the US Government of ignoring evidence of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) following the release of new declassified Department of Defence (DoD) footage.
The video, released on March 9, purportedly shows US Air Force aircraft monitoring a UFO off the United States east coast at an altitude of 7,500 metres in 2015.
The footage was made public by To The Stars Academy of Art and Science (TTSA), a research organisation founded in October 2017 by former Pentagon official Luis Elizondo, to conduct research into "exotic science and technologies".
An analysis of the video, published by TTSA, said the UFO showed no obvious wings or tails and was seen moving at a high speed "very low" above the ocean surface.

For the third time in three months, a declassified Defense Department video shows U.S. Navy F-18 fighters seemingly encountering UFOs.
Oh my gosh, dude, said one pilot in the video of their F/A-18 Super Hornet military jets 2015 encounter with the unusual object along the East Coast. The oval-shaped aircraft zipped with befuddling speed.
Wow! What is that, man? said another. Look at that flying!
The 35-second video, released by the privately owned media and scientific research company To the Stars Academy of Arts and Science, is the latest to suggest the existence of hovering egg-shaped vessels since the Pentagon in December publicly acknowledged a program dedicated to the study of unidentified flying objects. While the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program ran from 2007 to 2012, those familiar with it say efforts are still made to further learn about these objects.

(7,911 posts)The probability that an alien code, evolved on an alien planet would be even slightly compatible with ours is beyond astronomical.
My argument is mathematical.
I suppose that your own vast knowledge of exobiology backs up your mathematically preposterous claim?
Sorry to be brutal, but I don't think you've through through your objection.
And "other dimensions?" Really? You mean "higher vibrations" where the "space brothers" live in perfect harmony with the music of the spheres?

Recently declassified footage purports to show a new instance of the military tracking an unidentified flying object.
The footage was recorded in 2015 on a Raytheon ATFLIR pod, a targeting pod mounted underneath aircraft that's equipped with a camera with a laser rangefinder and a laser-spot tracker.
The pod was mounted underneath a US Navy F/A-18 jet flying about 25,000 feet (7.6 km) at a speed of Mach 0.62. The camera makes three attempts to lock on to an object moving extremely fast, but fails the first two times.
On the third try, the pod manages to get a lock, and the pilots speak out about their excitement and amazement at what they are seeing.

(1,020 posts)Because if aliens can get here, their technology is generations beyond ours, and in all probability, we're toast.

(13,862 posts)I know what the Europeans did to the natives in the New World, and what most people have done to other people throughout history, but the difference in a civilization that can overcome the Einstein prohibition against faster than light travel would be, compared to humans, like the difference in humans and insects. If we went to another world, would we want to exterminate the poor, lower forms of life we found there?
I just never understand this insistence that a superior species would want to do us harm.
And, if they could come from another system and have flying aircraft that much more advanced than ours, wouldn't it make sense that they could conceal themselves instead of being 'caught' by random Air Force pilots?
