The Oxford Handbook of Atheism

I came across this while searching for something (the 1st use of 'atheist' - in Plato's Apology as an accusation against Socrates, FWIW) - a recent collection of essays, of which a large part seems to be available on Google Books:

I thought it might be of interest to group members. It settles on its general definition of 'atheism' as "the absence of belief in the existence of a God or gods" (and its introductory essay goes through the reasoning for this). While Michael Ruse, one of the editors, can be an arsehole about other atheists, so far what I've read doesn't seem to conform to his own feelings.
