Best of 2014 from Mrs. Betty Bowers, America's Best Christian

Published on Jan 1, 2015
Mrs. Betty Bowers, America's Best Christian, looks back at her quips and concerns in 2014.

Betty added a comment to her own video:

"Facts have a notorious liberal bias. And an open mind is Satan's blow-up sex toy."

Don't miss some of the comments on this video.

Then there's this from a viewer:

What science can verifiably show is wrong about the Bible is called an allegory, what science can't disprove about the Bible is called "truth".

Somehow it seems less threatening despite the mockery. Stewart and Colbert are examples of what can be learned about the process with a good laugh.
Maybe it's more inclusive
You are on to something.

Miss Betty Bowers and others are.

Unfortunately, most of us are not that skilled.

By the way, thank you for the new year wishes thread, I just didn't get here in time to respond in a timely way. May your year be as un-blessed by non gods as the last one was; in other words, wishing you random good luck and good fortune.

I posted it here, because I know we enjoy irony and satire.

But her video is a bit ruff on the edges, as far as I am concerned. I like more direct confrontation, but irony and satire and humor goes further than direct confrontation.

If anyone dares post this in that "OTHER" forum, fell free, I invite that, but watching those minds explode is such a wonderful sight to see.....especially the illogical Roman Catholics and reform Episcopalians who defend them, they go nuts over stuff like this... saying "NOT ME!" (but the churches and religion they give money to.)
