But most of all, it's because atheists don't generally share anything other than being unconvinced that gods exist. We're not followers, we're not looking for someone to tell us what to think. There is no central theme. It's not a dynamic that lends itself well to massive get-togethers.

Bad scheduling or wrong venue. They need to move it to Denver ... central location that comes with other perks. Attendance would go through the roof.
