How screwed is Israel in right wing Armageddon fantasies?
It's sad/funny how so many wingnuts are cheering on Netanyahu's speech where he goes on and on with the standard boilerplate about the safety and security of Israel, about peace, when what many of them are eager for is the monumental bloodshed of Armageddon, so they get to float up to heaven, leaving empty piles of clothes in their driverless cars which crash into unbelievers who don't deserve better.
I suppose there is some concern -- concern that Israelis are safe and secure until the right moment comes for most of them to die horrendously for their benefit.
Does anyone offhand know any more specifics about some of the more popular Left Behind-ish interpretations of Revelations? I'll wade into the muck myself later if I have to, but when I tried to google up some more details I was just finding a lot of off-putting True Believer sites that I wasn't up to dealing with just yet.
I'm pretty sure I remember that Jews who don't convert to Christianity are toast.
