2. NJ will be cloud covered. Where are clear skies predicted?

I drove 2k miles for the solar eclipse.

4. If weather is good, I am going out to East Beach on Galveston Island.

If the weather is not good there, I'll go to wherever. South and west of Houston should be good. Also along the Bolivar Peninsula and east.

5. Skies were clear but cold. Watched eclipse from my back yard where I could get inside and warm up

once in a while.
