Around here, we got about a foot. It warmed up to just above freezing so it's all gone now but there's more on the way.

seen is calling for colder temperatures and lots of snow courtesy of La Niña. Oh, joy. We've been spoiled the last few winters, but it looks like I might to have to dig out my boots. I haven't had to wear them since 2014.

west end of the plains in the mountainous part of Montana. I saw sunshine for about an hour today, first time since last week. I got my winterbibs out yesterday while garage door was clear of snow. All my boots are right here. I still have to get my real winter coats out, I have several. I don't mind a lot of snow, subzero temps are fine as long as I can stay inside though I have extreme winter gear that's good to about -60F. There was a time when I would go out for a stroll at -40F but that was when I was a lot younger. The part I like about being older is that I can stay inside if I feel like it.

I'm okay with a hard winter as long as I have adequate shelter and clothing.

They're rough!
They're tough!
They can walk on ice!
Most of them can even drive on ice!
