Pre-dawn southern MD, with Venus

Planets are visible all night in September! Woo hoo! Saturn and Jupiter rise around sunset. Mars rises late in the evening and is high in the morning sky. Venus shines bright before sunrise. And Mercury hugs the western horizon in evening twilight in early September.
