It is never easy to see a family member die, however distant they might be.

Unfortunately, as we age, so do our families, and it's not uncommon to witness the deaths of our family members. It is something we all share.

You are in my thoughts...

Losing another family member stirs up so many emotions doesn't it? It's not necessarily the loss of that one person. We might not have known them very well or felt particularly close to them as you indicated but, they are members of our extended family and we are all connected somehow.
Their passing reminds us of the way we felt when our close family member, close friend, or even a neighbour passes away.
It dredges up all of the pain, sadness and anxiety.

But know this, the pain does change, .. never goes away as you know.
It changes and we deal with it.

Sincere condolences to you in all your losses.
