Dear Mom,

I spent the day getting stuff ready for Thanksgiving. I don't know how you did it all those years. I'm only cooking for two; you used to cook for twenty, or more.

I sure hope my holiday meal makes you proud.

It hurts that you're not here, and it hurts even more that we're all not together. We're trying to make sure we don't get Dad sick. He's w/ Chris. She's been in quarantine since she tested negative about 10 days ago.

I'm making a (mostly) traditional dinner for Al and I, and I will bring some to Marge.

We all miss you. It doesn't feel much like Thanksgiving w/o you here. I'm very thankful for everything you've been and done for me.

It's not just Thanksgiving that makes me miss you, but being in the kitchen... I was talking to you the whole time.

They were wonderful parents and I feel their love to this day. I don't believe love ever dies and for that I am thankful.

Like you, I hope they are proud of me.

Happy Thanksgiving, Millie.
