Is anyone else finding themselves crying and crying

today...9/11? 21 years and I am still reacting the same as I did on the day it happened. Does this ever let up? I wasn't alive during Pearl Harbor and I was only 1 when Kennedy died. Is this my generation's horrific tragedy?

Any event that makes us feel vulnerable, afraid and insecure in and for our country, will bring about this kind of fear and sadness. Anytime we lose so many people at once, with no reason and no real cause, just because, it is terrible.
We never, really become immune to the effects.
I’m older. I was born in 1950 and was 13 when John Kennedy died. I was 17 when Robert Kennedy, Malcom X and Martin Luther King Died.

didnt lose anyone, but his dad might have been in the bldg that day. he worked for cboe, and they had offices and a data center in the bldg. he was in toronto for a computer conference that didnt start til the 12th. he might well have stopped in.

i've shared a couple memories that i typed through tears. not a big cryer.
had a lot of other bs to contend w today, and i dont think this helped.
