No, you won't see 'hamster stacking' on the South Dakota ballot

Sioux Falls area billboards have lit up recently with messages supporting the passage of Initiated Measure 27 and touting support for "hamster stacking."

It's a quirkier message than most campaign ads, but that's probably because it's not a real campaign.

Details about the group running the faux campaign are hard to come by as their website is bare-bones and their emails offer few details.

Their website offers arguments for allowing hamster stacking and provides a quiz for visitors to weigh in on whether people should "stack them hamsters" or "hamsters should run amok."

The campaign by Hamster Enthusiasts for Sensible Stacking created the slogan, "Together wheel change the community."
