Fiery night
The annual Natsuyama Summer Festival at Mt Daisen in Tottori Prefecture on Saturday night marks the start of the climbing season. It takes place over the first weekend of June. The event starts with prayers at Ogamiyama shrine followed by a torchlight parade with 2,000 people carrying torches from the shrine down the mountain.
