Terrible accidents in Asia

If you have lived in Asia for any length of time you end up witnessing incredible accidents. I witnessed about a dozen where I took the victims in my car to the hospital.

This article from the Thai Daily News is about an accident in China. It has graphic pictures about a guy that while driving a motorcycle gets impaled on a steel shaft. The pictures are not that horrific, just amazing. They were able to take the shaft out and he is recovering. Amazingly the shaft didn't hit any vital organs. I hope he makes it.

Having seen so many horrific accidents I just hope this guy continues to recover from this one.

but friends who have gone over there on business have come back of remarkable things being transported on cars, motorbikes and even bicycles and pictures of some astonishing pileups.

That's dramatic, though. He is SO lucky it hit the left rather than the right. Ouch.
