Apparently you've never been in a plane or a moving vehicle.

Clouds can't travel 5 miles in 3 seconds, and a plane has movement in relation to large objects on the ground in 3 seconds.

8. Get in a car at night

Look at the moon. You will notice that objects like trees and buildings pass by while the moon stays stationary. Same principle.
