Related: About this forumBreaking--Why aren't we seeing the Sander's plan before Iowa?
Bernie claimed we would see the single payer tax plan before Iowa. Jeff Weaver's backed down from that deadline.
Is it because the tax increases are too great? That's going to kill Democrats down ballot.

The Clinton campaign, now in full desperate panikation mode, is attacking Sanders on healthcare how much it costs and how there is no plan. Both attacks are dishonest.

(37,549 posts)Bernie was saying last week he would be supplementing that legislation with more information prior to the Iowa caucuses. Jeff Weaver from his campaign though is now disputing that there will be more available before the Iowa caucuses.
I think the down ballot issue is something worth exploring, don't you?

This website was built & is maintained by volunteers with no official relation to Bernie Sanders.
A problem, as it is (basically) a FAQ on a plan that has yet to be presented, compiled by "volunteers with no official relation to Sanders"?
(Note: The above is a rhetorical questions because those linking to this site, in response to calls for links to the actual plan, clearly, don't have a problem with it.)

(5,402 posts)It'll be okay. Yes, we won't have Clinton, and I know that is a sad thing for a very few people. On the plus side, we will have a functioning government.

The bill has been written for well over 2 years.
Feel free to attack it if you can.

^snip^
But the plan would raise taxes. Among them would be a new 2.2 percent health care income tax, with higher rates for upper-income earners.

Instead, single-payer would aim to slow the rate of growth in costs by putting hospitals on budgets, negotiating drug prices with pharmaceutical companies and eliminating much of the waste that many experts believe characterizes the U.S. health care system.
Administrative savings would come from doing away with layers of insurance company bureaucracy. Those would be offset somewhat because the government bureaucracy would grow.
It may take some time for any expected savings from a single-payer system to start showing up, especially when the costs of the transition get factored in.
There is a 4 paragraph rule so I am leaving this as it is. Maybe you should try using a search engine sometime. All these answers are out there and very easy to find. At this points it seems as if you are deliberately trying to stay ignorant.
