Yesterday I posted something about the lesser of two evils.

It can be found here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251999003

The reason I posted it is because of recent reports that people who identify with the Democratic Party is shrinking. More and more, people are registering as unaffiliated/independent. The reason they give at least of those I encounter is the lesser of two evil argument. They obviously feel the two major political parties do not represent or serve their interests.

Some questions:

Do you feel your current primary candidate can change that trajectory?

Do you feel the current DNC can change that trajectory?

Do you feel you and others can change that trajectory?

Do you feel the Democratic Party can be changed from this trajectory without working to re-establish the coalition it had which in the past gave it such electoral power?

Can anything be done without getting money out of politics?

What scenario do you see playing out if your candidate wins the nomination of the party this year?

Thanks in advance for any who care to participate.

Do you feel your current primary candidate can change that trajectory? Yes.

Do you feel the current DNC can change that trajectory? No.

Do you feel you and others can change that trajectory? If enough of us come together, we can. We need mass.

Do you feel the Democratic Party can be changed from this trajectory without working to re-establish the coalition it had which in the past gave it such electoral power? I'm not sure about this one.

Can anything be done without getting money out of politics? Yes, if you've got politicians and their constituents willing and determined to do so.

What scenario do you see playing out if your candidate wins the nomination of the party this year? The shift that we are seeing beginning to unfold will grow, spread, and benefit the nation.

Thanks in advance for any who care to participate.

Almost word for word match with my thinking.

It has begun, and the beast is about to start howling louder than ever.

We will not be deterred, the very survival of the Nation and perhaps the World hang in the balance.

6. Change to entrenched interests never comes from the inside.

It only comes when enough pressure is exerted from the outside to cause a shift.
