5. That is a very significant endorsement.

Holder and Obama are very close. Somehow I doubt Holder would announce his endorsement, of anyone, without an ok from the president. This is pushing my theory, but it is even possible that Obama asked Holder to do this, with the caveat,of course, that she would be Holder's choice.
