I'm VERY disappointed in HILLARY - the many faces of Hillary on HEALTHCARE

Healthcare is a right and unless you are in bed with the insurance companies Democrats should be pushing for Medicare for all. I think Hillary has dug herself a hole on this issue. This is a case of serial flip-flopping and serial lying. There's no excuse that 'Medicare for all' can't be done as she has said in the past that it could. It it can be done lowering the cost of healthcare in this country. Anyhow I am extremely disappointed in her.

Kennedy was born a leader and was a real leader for Dem's :

Sanders socialism would offend Kennedy because
he was a cold war battler against the USSR. He was
rich man himself, he was for capitalism with regulations.

Sanders Honeymooned in Russia: No, its safe to
say that Kennedy would be supporting Hillary the first
chance the US has to elect a very experience qualified Dem woman
for President.

Kennedy didn't wait until he was 73 to decide to help the
Dem party fight against the GOP.

Bernie KNOWS that to create real changes as he proposes then people are going to have to get out and vote. He has said that repeatedly - he can't do it alone.

With Trump on the ticket, the GOP is afraid of losing both chambers of Congress.

His supporters claim that Hilary doesn't care about the poor,
and favors the rich complete untrue.

The Clinton's pulled 7.4million people out of poverty and they taxed
rich, not a single GOP vote was cast for the budget
that helped rebuild the middle class. I was able to get raise
any buy a house. (they even had climate change tax that got
cut out): the Clinton's have always been progressive because
they are both very educated and caring.

The Clinton's have been good to all the American people!
but they also smart and brave enough to stand up to
the GOP.

Sanders has nothing to help the poor but talk. How many
people did Sanders pulled out of poverty sitting on his behind
in the Senate talking.

one.

She is completely contradicting her earlier fervent advocacy for single payer and universal healthcare now that she has money.

Yes. The Clinton Foundation has done some wonderful work. But we are trying to choose the best candidacy for the PRESIDENCY, not for philanthropist of the year.

It's not that the Clinton's are evil. It's that Bernie will make a better president.

It is inexcusable that Hillary Clinton, who was a fervent supporter for single payer healthcare insurance has now sold herself out and is backing less than that.

Yes. Moving to single payer and universal coverage is a challenge. But America is up to that challenge.

We have to do it.

Hillary is speaking out a lot about drug abuse. Well, let me tell you as one who worked for a non-profit that helped homeless people that helping that population of homeless people that is alcohol- or drug-addicted requires free healthcare that is consistent, that allows for the building of a long-term or medium-term relationship between the healthcare providers and the addicted patient. It requires the building of trust and in many cases community. AA is great. But it presupposes the existence of a home to go back to after the AA meetings. It's really hard for people to be addicted to something. The world crumbles. At the very least these poorest of the poor -- the very folks that Jesus cared most about -- should have healthcare with dignity.

And they are only a tiny part of the population that remains uninsured, unable to do a lot of complex signing up for Obamacare, unable to pay even for Obamacare and not qualified for other health insurance.

Hillary has lost her way.

We need single payer.

Feel the Bern!

Bernie's accomplishments in the House:

* Corporate Crime Accountability (February 1995): A Sanders amendment to the Victims Justice Act of 1995 required “offenders who are convicted of fraud and other white-collar crimes to give notice to victims and other persons in cases where there are multiple victims eligible to receive restitution.”

* Saving Money, for Colleges and Taxpayers (April 1998): In an amendment to H.R. 6, the Higher Education Amendments of 1998, Sanders made a change to the law that allowed the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education to make competitive grants available to colleges and universities that cooperated to reduce costs through joint purchases of goods and services.

* Holding IRS Accountable, Protecting Pensions (July 2002): Sanders' amendment to the Treasury and General Government Appropriations Act of 2003 stopped the IRS from being able to use funds that “violate current pension age discrimination laws.” Although he faced stiff GOP opposition, his amendment still succeeded along a 308 to 121 vote.

* Expanding Free Health Care (November 2001): You wouldn't think Republicans would agree to an expansion of funds for community health centers, which provide some free services. But Sanders was able to win a $100 million increase in funding with an amendment.

* Getting Tough On Child Labor (July 2001): A Sanders amendment to the general appropriations bill prohibited the importation of goods made with child labor.

* Increasing Funding for Heating for the Poor (September 2004): Sanders won a $22 million increase for the low-income home energy assistance program and related weatherization assistance program.

* Fighting Corporate Welfare and Protecting Against Nuclear Disasters (June 2005): A Sanders amendment brought together a bipartisan coalition that outnumbered a bipartisan coalition on the other side to successfully prohibit the Export-Import Bank from providing loans for nuclear projects in China.

Once Sanders made it to the Senate in 2006, his ability to use amendments to advance a progressive agenda was empowered. Here are some of the amendments he passed in the Senate:

* Greening the U.S. Government (June 2007): A Sanders amendment made a change to the law so at least 30 percent of the hot water demand in newer federal buildings is provided through solar water heaters.

* Protecting Our Troops (October 2007): Sanders used an amendment to win $10 million for operation and maintenance of the Army National Guard, which had been stretched thin and overextended by the war in Iraq.

* Restricting the Bailout to Protect U.S. Workers (Feburary 2009): A Sanders amendment required the banking bailout to utilize stricter H-1B hiring standards to ensure bailout funds weren't used to displace American workers.

* Helping Veterans' Kids (July 2009): A Sanders amendment required the Comptroller General to put together comprehensive reporting on financial assistance for child care available to parents in the Armed Forces.

* Exposing Corruption in the Military-Industrial Complex (November 2012): A Sanders amendment required “public availability of the database of senior Department officials seeking employment with defense contractors” – an important step toward transparency that revealed the corruption of the revolving door in action.

* Support for Treating Autism in Military Health Care: Sanders worked with Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) to pass an amendment by a vote of 66-29 ensuring that the military's TRICARE system would be able to treat autism.

From what I've seen single payer is supported by +80% of Democrats and +50% of the population over all. If she's not protecting the insurance companies then it's pure incompetence on the part of her campaign. It makes no sense unless you consider the $2.8M she's received from that industry.

Basically, she has taken the weakest position in the argument. And did it on purpose. No one would willing do that if they weren't gaining something from it. In Clinton's case that's cash.

Hillary. I will vote for all other Democrats on my ballot, BUT NOT FOR YOU.

And I would really like a woman president in my lifetime.

But NEVER HILLARY.

By the way, in that first video, Hillary makes a great argument for universal, single payer healthcare. The story about the 63-year-old woman with no insurance and a lump in her breast?????

Sounds like one of my friends.

I have to say that when I was 50-55, I had no health insurance because I had returned to work and go to school. I worked nearly full-time but had jobs that paid very little. I could not afford health insurance and my husband's job did not provide it for me. It was frightening.

There are lots of ways to shift to single payer.

Adding Medicare as a public option is one. Adding a not-for-profit but private form of insurance like Medicare to compete with for-profit insurance, something like Kaiser across the country would help. That would force the for-profit insurance companies to compete with low cost insurance.

Remember that Medicare allows people for, I think, an additional cost to pick a private for-profit insurance company. Single payer does not necessarily eliminate the for-profit companies if people want to pay extra just for the joy of paying for the profits of the very rich.

His thought is that they are nothing more than "banksters". They take in premiums, skim off some for profit, and decide what payouts they will make (pay for your care) based on their bottomline.
They don't handle medications, they aren't doctors, or care. They just handle the money and make life and death descisions based on their companies profit margins for the most part.
The worst kind of bank.

The kind of bank Hillary supports now apparently.
