(DKos) Reports: Elizabeth Warren Likely to Endorse Clinton, Timeline Unclear

(appears to support my comments about last night's "Up With Chris Hayes&quot

Daily Kos:

Politico has a new piece up last night discussing Elizabeth Warren and the role her endorsement could play in the Democratic primaries.

Most striking among everything that was said is the sense that seems universal in Washington- Elizabeth Warren supports Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary, but has some difficult political calculations to go through as to when to make that public.

...snip...

So what is Elizabeth Warren thinking?

But people close to Warren’s political advisers in Boston say an endorsement of Clinton is far more likely than one of Sanders at this point. Clinton allies have long pointed to a 2013 letter that Warren signed with other female Democratic senators urging the former secretary of state to get into the race.

12. I hope so too. She would lose a lot of cred if she endorsed someone who won't even

reinstate glass steagal. I will be sorely disappointed. I think she would hear about it too. I don't want that at all.

14. Why are you always so concerned about what other DUers are posting?

Why not just comment on the article and leave it at that?

6. Makes sense that she would but I still think it will be at the convention.

If that is the timing used, it will be big going into the general. I think EW has put herself in that good of a position. She also sees the venom spewed at anyone endorsing Clinton right now. While most of that venom is from libertarians and people on the right, it would have a negative effect on her clout. None of us want that.

In fact, they are EW's biggest support. Big mistake if she endorses her before the primary is over.

7. I don't know that her endorsement will mean much anyway other than throw her under the bus with many

others who have already endorsed Hillary Clinton. It would be a blow to the Sanders campaign and his followers though.

10. There is nothing in either of the articles that supports your headline

I read the DKos article and also the article from Politico.

There is absolutely nothing in either of those articles that suggests that "Elizabeth Warren Likely to Endorse Clinton, Timeline Unclear."

Nothing at all.

There is rampant speculation from many DC insiders establishment politicians, who ALL admit that they have no idea what Warren will do. Lots of hand wringing.

Lazy reporting or a headline writer who skipped their morning coffee? Who knows.

17. Well, the majority of that article was quotes from Clinton supporters

So of course it'll come off as sounding like Warren will endorse her. We'll have to wait and see.
