I'm not a gun person. I don't like guns, and I don't even like all of Sanders' positions on guns (although he really isn't bad). But I'm not here to pick a fight with you about guns. Instead, I'm here to appreciate Bernie Sanders for not pandering to me and to the majority of his followers who don't like guns. I appreciate getting the straight story from my candidate, even when I disagree with my candidate. That's a stand-up guy.

big difference imo between him and the people that profit off sale. those people can never be reasonable cuz all they see is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

a duet. had a gig in White River Junction VT. Getting ready to start playing and a cop walks in. We looked at each other and were a little worried. Who was getting arrested or what? The cop goes behind the bar, takes off his gun, puts on a apron, and now, hes the bartender A really nice guy. It was a great 4 day gig. Just how things are in VT. So I can see Bernies perspective on guns in a statle like VT. Not something you would see in say, NYC, Chicago etc. But still, Bernie gets a D- from the NRA so I'm ok with that.

for Bernie to evolve on the gun issue without any backlash. He is simply not gonna take a position on something just to get a vote or 2. That's why I'm a huge Bernie supporter .

I just wanted to point out that our candidate can take a prickly issue like guns and say it straight to his supporters, even if not all of us agree.

I'll argue guns with you in a different thread on a different day.
