He has barely made a peep about Sanders, I know he just came back from break but before that he treated Sanders as if a ghost. Bill has a bit too much ego and pride at times but he usually swallows it and gets on the right track.

We shall see - either way, I like Brother West and I enjoyed him on the show as always.

Sanders wins IA and NH Maher will start talking - everyone will have to at that point.

It's disturbing how many DU members think Cornell West is controversial, I've never heard him say anything I disagree with.

You think HBO may have pressured him? That's interesting, what makes you say that? Just curious, as HBO airs VICE and they seem to say whatever the fuck they want.

I'm just trying to reconcile why he would be so dismissive of Bernie's chances. Maher's views seem to be more in line with Sanders than Clinton, and he's definitely informed.

Apparently Bill has endorsed Sanders, now the question is why is he so silent about it - like I said I watch it constantly and that Salon article is the first I am hearing about his endorsement. Odd, don't you think?

EDIT - read the article and it's not exactly a formal endorsement. Time will tell.

Maybe he doesn't want to burn any bridges with guests.

He definitely seemed aghast when West mentioned Clinton's integrity.

What Dr.West says about the shift in the AA vote in SC is being echoed by others there as well. Including leaders in the Democratic Party both past and present.

I agree with Juicy Bellows: if Sanders does win both IA and NH, Maher and everyone may be shocked to see that southern firewall Berning down.

It all begins in Iowa.
