Subtle comments from Intl leaders
It's interesting to see international leaders starting to make comments in their own country (knowing that the U.S. will report it) coming right out and implying Mitt Romney is bad for foreign relations. Face it, he would just be a bad president overall.
It is quite evident that Benyamin Natanyahu is meddling in the U.S. elections, especially now that he is in a Romney ad. I am glad however, that some have come out in defense of President Obama since I believe they are disgusted that Natanyahu is trying to sway the election towards Mitt Romney.
Australian Finance Minister, Wayne Swan warns of Republican crazies
Lets be blunt and acknowledge the biggest threat to the worlds biggest economy are the cranks and crazies that have taken over a part of the Republican Party, Swan said.
He said the extreme right Tea Party wing of the Republican Party had held the national interest hostage during last years debate over the U.S. borrowing limit despite President Barack Obamas goodwill and strong efforts.
U.K. Prime Minister, David Cameron
"It's a good thing for Mitt Romney the English do not have to vote in American elections, as they are "united" against him becoming the next president of the United States. Mitt Romney has a unique distinction of uniting England against him with his various remarks."
Israel Deputy Foreign Minister, Danny Ayalon
"Israel has no better friend than the United States and no better friend than President Obama in the international community."
