The "Lucky Sperm" Club

Democratic presidents such as FDR and JFK (both Roosevelts, actually) appreciated the luck of their births and were raised to to appreciate their advantages and "pay it back." (I'll skitter away from how some of their daddies attained their wealth). As with Andrew Carnegie, guilt may have made them philanthropists. Nonetheless, there is no guilt (although much deserved) with Mitt Romney and his ilk; no concept as to how much they benefited by being "lucky sperm." What really puzzles me: why such resentment toward those who weren't born lucky but have worked hard to stay afloat and need some help now and then?
