A town hall IS a debate if the candidates are all on the stage at the same time and can interact

with one another, don't let anyone tell you different.

There have been numerous Presidential Town Hall forums with the candidates on stage while allowing interaction and no one ever claimed those weren't debates.

I've searched for the rules of the debate and haven't found any but I do recall an early thread that stated that all candidates will be on stage at the same time and can interact with each other.

I wouldn't dismiss the town hall. I remember watching the logo event. John Edwards was so uncomfortable I couldn't support him. Richardson was nonsensical. Gravel and kucinich were strong. Obama was stumbling but at least he was coherent. Hillary was poised but equivocated. I'm looking forward to the townhall.

to see how much more time he would have to endure it.
